The June driving day is going ahead - if you would like to join us, please simply send £19.75 each to Bernard Walker. Details of the Route are on the event listing on the web site.
The number of cars attending the June Tatton has grown from the usual 7 to 15.

Event Description: Visit Bolton in the pleasant grounds of the Cathedral-like Parish Church . Very popular with all who attended in previous years There is ample, safe parking to display our cars in the centre of a busy university town. As usual the church will be open all day with various concerts. Light refreshments available. We hope to again have the privilege of morning coffee in the Mayor’s Parlour and see a little more of the magnificent Town Hall.

It has steep hills in places and some of the pavements are uneven but the taxi service is excellent, assistance is available for the less able and there are many sites and views to enjoy. It is a popular resort for those seeking a quieter more gentile holiday and was a firm favourite with Sir Winston Churchill.

Event Description: The Manchester Airport Aviation Society have invited us to attend their Annual Fair at the Manchester Runway Visitor Park. This was a popular event last year which we are repeating. Please note that the Oulton Park event - which was on the same weekend last year- is not being held in 2013. Event Description: **** This event is now fully booked. Please contact Jo if wish to go on the reserve list*** We meet from 11am at The Mill Hotel, Milton Street, Chester, in the Residents Lounge. There we await boarding instructions for our trip on the Restaurant Boat L’EAU-T CUISINE. We set sail from The Mill Hotel. This was formerly known as “Griffiths Mill” until 1986 when the mill was purchased by the present owner and converted into a hotel. As we travel the Shropshire Union Canal towards the Northgate locks travelling under Cow Lane Bridge the city walls come into view with the corner tower on the wall known as ,the Phoenix or King Charles Tower. The city walls still towering above the canal are part of the largest and most complete Roman Fortress in Great Britain.

Our North of England Rally is the pride of the Yorkshire, East Midlands, Northern and North Eastern Sections of the Club and the envy of the rest of the Club. It not only continues to attract large numbers of our own members but attracts many members from the rest of the UK and overseas. It is held in the beautiful grounds of Harewood House and we are allowed to park in front of the magnificent stately home.
