Event Information For ' RREC North of England Rally'
Date: 04/08/2013-04/08/2013 Times: 9:30 to 6pm
Car Information: The Rally provides many pleasures from the initial entrance down the impressive tree lined drive to the unique opportunity to study at close quarters a range of Club cars which are rarely seen elsewhere .There are various trade stalls , a variety of food and refreshments, plus a very interesting house and gardens to visit. Combine this with the delight of meeting old and new friends and you have the recipe for a perfect day Many members make a full weekend of it and book in at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate. Set in 12 acres of gardens overlooking the elegant Spa town, the Majestic is a palatial and stately Victorian hotel. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly. Whilst in Harrogate pay a visit to the popular Betty’s tea rooms. Discover the exclusive shopping arcades and the lovely Montpellier gardens. On the Saturday an interesting drive of approximately 50 miles through the stunning Yorkshire countryside and including a visit to an attraction is always planned. This is followed in the evening by a Grand Gala Dinner in the ballroom of the hotel, including entertainment.
Event Description: Yes folks, it is time to remind you to book for the major event in your Section calendar. The North of England Rally at Harewood, near Harrogate. Our North of England Rally is the pride of the Yorkshire, East Midlands, Northern and North Eastern Sections of the Club and the envy of the rest of the Club. It not only continues to attract large numbers of our own members but attracts many members from the rest of the UK and overseas. It is held in the beautiful grounds of Harewood House and we are allowed to park in front of the magnificent stately home.
